The Economics of Poverty

In observance of International Poverty Day, we wanted to share a number of terrific films on the subject.  We all know this problem is not going away.  The big cities continue to struggle with the fight against homelessness and poverty, while international territories battle globalism and the economics of poverty.    

The West has made itself the protagonist of development, giving rise to a multibillion dollar poverty industry.

We have been trying to solve this problem with the wrong formula.  There needs to be a paradigm shift.  In watching these films, we are forced to ask ourselves. Are we part of the problem?
